ITovation

ITovation is a seminar series that focuses on the interplay among innovation, creativity and improvisation – and the magic that results when scientists, engineers and artists meet in a convivial setting to consider unconventional approaches to thinking and ingenuity.

The seminar series is tailored to NTNU PhD students, but is open to the NTNU community and our industrial partners. We believe that our PhD students are the foundation for future technological development, and we hope to encourage their creativity with ITovation. Each seminar has a theme, and typically includes talks by industry experts about cutting-edge ideas and technologies, presentations of innovative PhD projects from the university, musical improvisation, unusual and creative food and drink, and a chance to network with like-minded individuals.

And because ITovation – an amalgam of “information technology” and “innovation” – is all about sharing ideas, each event is streamed online, so even if you can’t attend, you can watch live on the Internet or on your mobile phone.

ITovation is hosted by
Strategic research area Information and Communication Technology at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)
